9 May 2012. Police detained two senior Kiryat Malachi municipal officials suspected of raping and sexually molesting a city employee. The two, as well as six other workers, are also being questioned about an alleged corruption scandal, Israel Radio reported Wednesday morning.
They are suspected of taking bribes, extortion, fraud and breach of trust. The suspects were to be brought before a judge Wednesday afternoon.
