Sherpa, a Paris based NGO, has lodged a complaint at the end of October with the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office seeking a probe into the allegations of money laundering and corruption in the Rafale deal, in which conditions 36 fighter aircraft produced by Dassault Aviation were sold to India in 2016. The complaint questions the choice of Anil Ambani’s Reliance as the offset partner which had no “experience in the manufacture of fighter jets” and was registered only “twelve days” before the announcement of the deal in 2015. NDTV reported.
Anil Ambani’s Reliance has sued the news channel NDTV for Rs 10,000 crore in an Ahmedabad court. The defamation suit has been filed for NDTV’s reportage on Rafale deal in their weekly show Truth vs Hype, which was aired on 29 September. The Logical Indian website reported.
