Ng Boon Gay
Singapore. Former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) director Ng Boon Gay has resigned from the board of Certis Cisco. He is being investigated by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) for personal misconduct. He joined the board in May 2009.
Certis Cisco is a commercial Auxiliary Police force. It provides armed security officers to government organizations and private companies or individuals in Singapore. It has its roots as a department of the Singapore Police Force (SPF). Cisco Security Pte Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, an investment company owned by the government of Singapore.
At the time, Mr Ng was also director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). According to the National University of Singapore’s website, he was one time a member of the North West Community Development Council.
