12 June 2012. Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) will examine whether directors and employees of Kings Security Group Pty Ltd attempted to influence public officials.
It was alleged that Kings were involved in collusive tendering for NSW public sector contracts. ICAC will also examine whether Kings provided false information in order to win contracts.
Sydney Ports Corporation, Taronga Zoo, The Art Gallery of NSW, NSW Businesslink, University of Western Sydney, the former Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service and Woollahra Council are part of the ICAC’s investigation.
The commission is also investigating whether security consultant Daniel Paul, of Hootspah Pty Ltd and Geoffrey Powell, a private consultant to NSW Businesslink, received corrupt benefits from Kings in return for recommending Kings.
