High-profile graft suspect Nunun Nurbaeti, the wife of Prosperous Justice Party lawmaker and former deputy police chief Commissioner General (ret.) Adang Daradjatun, was rushed to Harapan Kita Hospital on Tuesday (21 February 2012) morning to undergo medical checks. She was hospitalised three times due to high blood pressure since her arrest in Thailand in December last year.
Mulyaharja, one of her lawyers, said on Tuesday (21 February 2012) night that her condition worsened, she would undergo heart examinations.
Nunun allegedly distributed 480 travellers’ checks worth US$26.64 million to at least 33 former and current members of the House of Representatives’ Commission IX overseeing finance.
