11 April 2012. A former National Healthcare Group (NHG) IT manager, Loh Thian Chung, 36, admitted to taking a bribe of $400 from graphic designer Lye Pei Ching, 35. Loh came to know Ms Lye when she was working at National University Hospital in 2005.

Subsequently she left to work for her boyfriend’s graphic design services firm, Orienge and Berlue (O&B). The bribe was for inviting her to quote for a NHG IT project and was paid at the void deck of Block 407 Bukit Batok West Avenue 7 on Sept 11, 2008.

Loh fined $4,000 and ordered to pay a penalty of $600 on Wednesday for corruption.
