14 June 2012. The chairman of the state-run petrochemical refiner CPC Corp., Taiwan is being investigated on suspicion of bid-rigging, the government’s Enterprise Commission said Wednesday.
Chu Shao-hua is suspected of helping a local company win a CPC tender in 2006 for an oil leak detection system, officials from the commission said, citing a preliminary probe by inspectors from the Economics Ministry’s Department of Civil Service Ethics.
The case has been turned over to the Agency Against Corruption under the Ministry of Justice for further investigation, the officials said.
