Juniper Networks Inc., California based company disclosed in its quarterly report revealed that the Department of Justice and the Securities and exchange commission are investigating it for possible violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act(FCPA).
The FCPA prohibits bribes to foreign officials to win contracts and gain business advantage.
Last month its CEO, Kevin Johnson, announced his retirement. Juniper also reported that its second-quarter profit went up by 70% on higher revenue at the time of that announcement. The company is in network-gear business.
