Kuantan, 25 March 2012. A police officer in Temerloh has been arrested for corruption allegedly for his association with unlicensed massage parlours in Mentakab, according to police.

Pahang police chief Datuk Sharifuddin Ab Ghani today confirmed the arrest, and said the officer was released on bail of RM5,000. He said the officer was under investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and that he has been asked to go on leave.
