Peter Lim Sin Pang
6 June 2012. Peter Lim Sin Pang, former Civil Defence (SCDF) Chief is said to appear in court today facing some 10 corruption charges. He was alleged to have accepted sexual favours in return for IT contracts. Earlier reports here indicated that Mr Lim was involved with a 39 year old woman from IT industry.
But it would appear that three women who held senior positions in their companies were involved in this case. They are Pang Chor Mui, a general manager at Nimrod Engineering, Lee Wei Hoon, a director at Singapore Radiation Centre and Esther Goh, a business development director at NCS Private Limited.
The offences allegedly took place at the car parks at Big Splash East Coast Park and the Singapore Indoor Stadium, apartments and even at a hotel in France.
He was arrested by Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) on 4 January 2012 two days after former Central Narcotics Bureau Chief Ng Boon Gay was nabbed. Mr Ng is not expected to appear in court today. He is also alleged to have accepted sexual favours in return for IT contracts.
